Red Lipstick Manifesta

LC Johnson, a friend and former classmate, recruited me to help create a motion graphics video for her amazing spoken word piece, with the objective of publicizing her blog.

In order to create this video, I produced a storyboard, created and animated all visual elements, composed the musical number, and chopped up and mixed the original vocal recording, soliciting LC's input and feedback through each and every stage of the process. In our spare time, often once a week, we met to discuss concepts and the progress of the project.

LC published the finished product on March 12th, 2013. In less than a day, the video garnered over 8,000 views on Youtube! It also reached over 50,000 views in less than one week.

In addition to a storyboard developed in Adobe Photoshop, this video was produced through the use of Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere; Garageband; Ableton Live; and ProTools LE.
